On April 26, the Los Angeles Urban League will host its 40th Annual Whitney M. Young, Jr. Awards Dinner. This year’s theme is “celebrating our spirit of service” and will feature Keynote speaker Gen. Colin Powell, USA (Ret.). The Los Angeles Urban League will honor Johnson Publishing Co.’s Linda Johnson Rice with the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Award and feature entertainment by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
