The Margolin Group applauds the decision by Los Angeles County Supervisors to consolidate physical health, mental health and broader public health oversight departments into a single agency, in an effort to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness and coordination of care and services. This reorganization is an essential step toward more integrated service delivery across the continuum of care which should lead to broader access, better service, improved safety and reduced cost for all.
