Leslie Margolin Joins Panel Discussion Titled “The Education Sector as a Health Care Partner: Schools’ Role in Improving Student Health Outcomes”

On March 8, Leslie Margolin brought her insight into Affordable Care Act policy and procedure to a panel discussion titled, “The Education Sector as a Health Care Partner: Schools’ Role in Improving Student Health Outcomes” hosted by Dickerson Employee Benefits Insurance Services. Margolin joined a distinguished panel of speakers from fields of politics, academia and health care, including Congresswoman Barbara Lee, 13th District, Congresswoman, Micah Ali, President of the Compton Unified School District Board of Trustees, Joanna Fawzy Morales, CEO of Navigating Cancer Survivorship, and Maryjane Puffer, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Trust for Children’s Health. The panel – moderated by Tony Lee, CEO of Dickerson Employee Benefits Insurance Services – discussed how the Affordable Care Act was designed to support the implementation of school-based health care delivery models nationwide.
