The Margolin Group (TMG) extends warm and well-deserved congratulations to Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Health and Human Services Elizabeth Roberts, Medicaid Director Anya Rader Wallack and the entire ‘Reinventing Medicaid’ committee for their successful efforts to reform Medicaid and improve the lives of Rhode Islanders.
Their visionary leadership and reform efforts led to $7 million more in savings than the goal of $70 million. TMG applauds these key Rhode Island leaders for achieving exemplary cost savings and quality improvements through partnership.
Launched in 2015, the Reinventing Medicaid team brought together public and private sector leaders from across the state to solve intractable problems, overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges and make meaningful and lasting reforms to Medicaid. TMG collaborates with public and private entities from across the nation to foster true and meaningful healthcare and coverage reform. The model developed by the committed stakeholders across the state of Rhode Island is a model that hopefully can and will offer guidance, impact and inspiration within and beyond the borders of RI for many years to come.
