Recently, the City of Philadelphia and the District of Columbia identified a problem to solve – COVID-19 created new obstacles for community members suffering from mental illness and substance use disorders to receive critical treatment. They looked to Gaudenzia, a national leader in behavioral health and recovery services and fully integrated virtual communications platform, MeU Care, for a solution. Together, MeU Care and Gaudenzia built a groundbreaking approach to delivering virtual screenings, ongoing counseling and care for people facing multiple physical and behavioral health challenges, successfully addressing issues of both quarantine and care.
